Department of Outreach and Communication (BOC) was set up on eighth December, 2017 by coordination of past Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity (DAVP), Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP) and Song and Drama Division (S&DD). The Bureau targets giving a 360 degrees correspondence answers for the Ministries/Departments/Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)/independent bodies. Hierarchical STRUCTURE 


The BOC is going by a Director General (DG) with its central command at Soochana Bhawan, New Delhi. BOC working from Delhi, ROBs from areas and FOBs at the field level are monitored by officials of Indian Information Service and Ex-unit faculty of recent DAVP (Directorate of Advertisement Visual Publicity), Directorate of Field Publicity and Song and Drama Division.
